Guitarist/Singer and Bassist seeking multiple band members for new rock band to perform mostly originals but one or two covers as well. Musicians required are:
Guitar
Drums
Keys (think piano and Hammond as opposed to programming and mini-synths)
Sax
Genre's a bit of a tricky one to pin down. Songs already written contain elements of hard rock, blues, punk, rock n roll, reggae, ska, folk, country and gypsy punk. Influences include The Clash, Neil Young, Tom Waits, The Specials, Ramones, Ian Dury, Nick Cave, Bob Dylan and others.
Virtuoso ability not strictly necessary, as long as you don't take yourself too seriously and know one end of the instrument from the other, you'll be fine. If any of the above musicians listed are also able/willing to sing, that would be a huge bonus.
Reasonable level of commitment wanted, looking to gig initially at least 2-3 times a month, but at the moment this band is mostly for fun above all else.
