I am putting together a new band and am looking for a Bassist and a Drummer to complete the line-up. Musically, I’m looking to create a band that plays heavy music although not necessarily sticking with the metal genre. I have a guitarist and a DJ on board and we’ve spoken at length about the styles of music we want to incorporate.
The Genres we are looking at include Funk, Metal, Rock, Hip-Hop, Dubstep, Thrash, Dance to name a few.
Some of the bands we’re influenced by are Limp Bizkit, Korn, James Brown, Bring me the Horizon, Prince, Faithless, The Prodigy, Of Mice and Men, Slayer, Metallica, Slipknot. There are more but as you can see it’s a well varied mix of musical styles.
The bassist should be skilled in playing bass to a high standard on either a 4 or 5 string bass, be able to play slap bass to a good level and lastly, play in various tunings competently. The drummer should be groove orientated and is happy playing double bass but will know how to use it to create bigger impact. Additionally, the use of electronic drum pads/triggers would be cool.

Previous gigging/touring/recording experience is highly preferable
