40 something year old singer, in one band but with lots of spare time and available for a second project. Desperate to get out and gig more so looking to join or form a second band.
I am very much in to both Rock/Blues, and 80s pop!. My existing band is 80s pop, I was in a rock band which is now disbanded due to drummer and guitarist not having time available, so looking ideally for a second rock covers band. I want to go out and gig - obviously rehearsing is important, but I do not want to join a "rehearse only, for a bit of a laugh" band, I want to play in public and perform to an audience.
Search for "Russ Fray" on youtube for a mix of recordings, ranging from a couple of bands (Vintage Sons - Rock, SledgeHammer - 80s Pop), singing to backing tracks at home, and singing whilst playing piano.
I have good quality recording equipment at home and enjoy adding "guest vocals" to random tracks. If you have a song and want somebody to record vocals, you can send me the track along with a guide, I will record professional quality vocals and send back to you!
