Instant LoveDone using Renoise only, where we sampled ourselves playing and singing, chopped the samples up and used them with the original stems. Vocals were done with one take only and are kept imperfect on purpose to emphasize the feeling of vulnerability and emotional distress :)
AutorrheaA song about insomnia, when you wake up in the middle of the night and realise that you're too old for this. And then repeat the process for weeks... Duet with Craig Yamey (http://www.craigyamey.com)
Watercolour Sky (remix of a Julien Mier original)
Watercolour Sky (remix of a Julien Mier original)Lyrics: We think we're smarter than you But we don't think enough We think we're in control Nothing shows us more than you Keep open our eyes for Dragonfly Our water's pure When you're nearby If we observe We might learn Meaning: Basically, we as "Westerners", generally think we're smarter than animals and that we control everything in the world -- and yet we're constantly realising that out inventions are nowhere near as perfect a solution as what's been designed by nature. Many cultures have meanings for when dragonflies appear, but probably the oldest and most useful is the one from the native American Indians, who noticed that dragonflies appear over good water - never over stagnant. If we observe (not experiment on), we might learn, from them.
Green Army Choir v.2
Green Army Choir v.2Rework of one of our catchiest tunes.
DiscosaurusLast track of the choral EP that we recorded and engineered.
Icen GlowThis is our only song about snow and ice, and there's a story behind it. After doing a gig in Montreal, we were driving to Toronto and got caught up in a snow storm. The roads got icy within minutes and we could barely see where we were going. There were no other vehicles on the road, except for huge trucks that didn't care at all about the driving conditions. They were driving so fast around us and so dangerously close that we honestly didn't think we'd survive and would end up dead in a ditch. Originally written for Dandelion Radio's Festive 50 mix in 2009, we decided to remaster it and share it as a free download.
And Yet We Continue
And Yet We ContinueWith this tune, we tried to capture the essence of "shoe-dustrial"
