ABOUT

Experienced lead guitarist and songwriter with 20 years’ playing experience. Strong melodic lead player with solid composition and live arrangement skills, plus backing vocals and multi-instrumentalist ability. Fully committed, professional and formally trained, with studio, touring and festival experience (including working with a Grammy-winning producer).

Alongside performance and writing, I bring project management skills and hands-on knowledge of both the creative and operational sides of building a serious project. I have many years of experience in bookings and industry communication, interviews/photoshoots/music videos, release coordination and social media strategy. Fully committed and able, but ideally looking for a project where other members can take some of this workload too!

Looking to join an active band or collaborate with committed, like-minded musicians to build something with intent as soon as possible. Versatile across influences (predominantly pop/rock/indie but open), but mainly focused on strong songs, tight live sets and long-term progression.

Influences

I am a regular gig-goer (at least monthly!) with a wide-ranging taste in music and an open mind towards all styles. Recent favourites and live shows have included Bruce Springsteen, John Mayer, Oasis, Tame Impala, Alter Bridge, Mumford & Sons, Deacon Blue, Kings of Leon, James Bay, The National and Taylor Swift. Will listen to and appreciate most things!
