ABOUT

Experienced musician - Lead/rhythm guitar + Bvs and harmonies. Ex-pro (long time ago!) and semi-pro for most of my adult life. Have played in originals bands,(rock and glam rock), 50s-60s RnR tributes, Duo with female vocals and backing tracks, deps, folk and acoustic clubs, and odd solo gigs.
I'm looking to play mainly electric guitar in a decent band that goes out 2-4 times per month. My most recent band was a 60s/70s Rock n Roll 5 pc. I can sing harmonies, not looking to sing lead, can cover a little keyboards if needed. Style-wise I love blues (but not dirgy stuff), old r'n'b (Stax/Atlantic), 70s rock and Pop, a bit of reggae, disco, pretty much anything except metal, jazz or modern urban stuff. My musical preferences run from about 1960-1988 and after that I kind of lost interest! Happy to play originals as well as covers. I don't play note for note guitar parts but will get the gist of the part and play it my way.
