If you’re a guitar player, or maybe a soloist, looking for something beyond conventional function band stuff, two of us in Nailsworth (bass + keys) are starting to work on covers from scandi/contemporary artists + a few originals.
We want to develop a sound that makes the most of material while adding something to it as a unique combination of instruments. We’re both experienced and gig-ready players.
A few random examples:

> Olafur Arnalds (e.g. ‘Tomorrow’s Song’)
> Lars Danielsson (e.g. ‘Liberetto’)
> Jean-Michel Blais (e.g. ‘Outsiders’)
Understanding chords would really help, or an ability to play by ear. Keys input might range from piano to synth, depending on piece, so pedals are welcome (or not depending on your preferences).
We rehearse in Nailsworth at no cost. Full scores, with chords, are available. The end goal is not entirely decided, but gigs from time to time would be great. We’d aim to get together every couple of weeks or so.
