We are October Grey and we are searching for a committed, skilled, and dedicated drummer who is up for the task but down to hang out too. We have been working hard on this band for very long and have a grand vision for this project, so we are looking for someone more serious.
We write original material and have just recorded an EP consisting of four songs which will be released very soon. The sound of our band is influenced by Danny Elfman and Tim Burton. It's really dark, theatrical music. However, we combine that with a lot of gypsy jazz and European folk music. If you are interested I can also show you our demos for you to see if the drumming fits within your comfort zone.
We practice three times a week at ICMP in Kilburn from 8 - 10 pm. There's no need to bring your drums to practice as there are drums provided there. However, it would be great if you had your own drum kit to practice on and possibly bring to gigs. If you're interested, we can discuss more over message.
