am an experienced-ish amateur musician. I write my own material and sing (fairly averagely). I have my own web site at www.noiseproject.co.uk where you can listen to some examples of what I do. I am looking for people to collaborate with in writing songs - particularly a female vocalist.
I have been in Sound on Sound last year in the 'Mix Rescue' section which was a great thing for me. I work alone too much and I am looking for someone to bounce ideas off.
I'm also looking to get back in a band. I am quite happy filling in for someone for the short-term or in more permanent arrangements. I would be interested in playing bass for others and would be very willing to help other musicians with ideas or just play a few parts on their work. I would also like to help a vocalist fill out their sound and develop their own ideas into full arrangements.
If you would like to get in touch to talk about what you do - please feel free. I have favourite artists (Beck, Njork, Nitin Sawhney, Eels, Edwyn Collins) but I have got a wide ranging taste and I am interested in mixing ideas from different genres.
