We are a band from leicester called The Mile, we are currently looking for a drummer and lead guitarist due to our last ones having a diva strop and walking out. we are a hugely committed band that are looking to get signed later this year, we have taken on a management company that are helping us with this and we are up there with the very best unsigned bands in the country, we have been nominated for a national indie music award and have been talking to a top producer (ask and we will tell you who)who wants us in his studio to record we are also currently talking to an indie label about a possible publishing and distribution deal. Due to disruption caused by our 2 divas we have had to cancel a few gigs but are due to play the Surface Unsigned showcase on April 16, this is a great platform for any band and we are going to do everything in our power to play it. this means that we are looking for experenced people who are a quick study, age wise you must be between 20 and 30 ish but will consider anyone if you are brilliant at what you do, last year we went out to the states for a tour and its something we are looking at doing again. you can check some of older material out at www.myspace/themileband and either get back to us here or on the myspace page. we look forward to hearing from you, and please, NO DIVA'S
