SEEKING
Vocalist - Soprano, Keyboard, Vocalist - Alto.ABOUT
We are a five piece alternative rock band based in central London and practicing generally on Holloway Road. We are about to say farwell to our brilliant current singer Louise, who is off travelling over the next 8 months and so are looking for a female singer to replace her in her absence and ideally become a full time member of Neon People from now on. We are also looking for a full time keyboard/synth player (think along the lines of pink floyds keyboardist) to help generate the sound we're looking for.
Currently myself and louise share the singing, both taking the lead roles in turn, and harmonising other parts of the songs. We take practicing and performing seriously but believe in it being a fun time too!

Influences
We have an ambient, but rocky feel to our sound comparable to the likes of air, pink floyd, radiohead, muse, with our recent material leaning towards the more mellow stuff and with our use of delay, reverb and chorus pedals our sound has a somewhat 80s feel to it. We like to play with interesting time signiatures and tempo changes, but at the end of the day believe in writing melodic tunes to accompany the soundscape.

This Is Love
This Is Love Track number: 1 Year: 2012 Album: Castles for Elephants
This is an acoustic version of the song we do as a band just to express what we are really looking for in our other singer, we basically need someone of a similar standard to our Louise.

Mirror On The Wall
Mirror On The Wall Track number: 1 Year: 2012 Album: Castles for Elephants Genre: Alternative
Although we haven't gotten around to recording this as a band yet, this is something I did in about a day from my home studio setup and the new version isn't much different at all

The 2-Dimension-AL
The 2-Dimension-AL Track number: 2 Year: 2012 Album: Castles for Elephants Genre: Alternative
This is a slightly older recording that I did using an 8 track recorder. The question answer section within the verse is an essential part for another singer to perform, and though the harmony isnt on this recording, there is a beautiful harmony written for the chorus
