I am a songwriter looking for roots musicians to make a band. Whilst I find it hard to categorize my songs, I would say that they definitely fit under the banner of 'Americana' and you will see from my influences the style of music I'm interested in.
I have uploaded a couple of videos from a band I was previously in who unfortunately were unable to continue. Whilst I am singing in these videos, I by no means class myself as a singer so would be interested in meeting with singers, as well as musicians who play Banjo, Fiddle and Mandolin. I potentially already have a cajon player and a guitarist. We are looking for musicians to join us for weekly practice, yes for fun, but with a view to playing local small gigs.
The protagonists of my songs tend to be outsiders/drifters/hobo's etc. If you're into that sort of thing, I'm sure you will enjoy the songs and be able to add to them.
