Hi I'm Matt, I've played in lots of bands but right now my three main concerns are these, so I'm probably contacting you about one of those - although I'm open to the possibility of starting or joining something new...
Void: (The Unsearchable Void) A fringe black metal band, mixing disparate influences and scorning convention since 1999. I play guitar and sing. The line up is in slight flux at the moment
Led Dent: Working title for a new industrial punk fetish band. I'm currently writing and recording songs and putting together a lineup to start gigging. I will sing and dance. Alternative image essential.
Las Astas: A dream pop, psych/alt rock side project that I hope to raise to its full potential soon. Most songs I write end up in this category, those its far from being my most active project.

LED DENT - 515150 4 Songs
LED DENT - 515150 4 SongsFirst four songs for new project by Matt Jarman (Void), working title "Led Dent". Led Dent use punk riffs played through an industrial sound (named 515150) to normalise deviancy and bring fantastical characters to life, exploring the depths of what it means to be human in a synthetic world. 0.00 - "Tokyo Ghost" 2.45 - "Equus" 5.45 - "Akihabara Blues" 10.22 - "Mother"
Racy DazeHere's one that bursting with nostalgia! A track made by the Greyhound Road crew in 2007! Matt Jarman, Arvai Csaba, Nick Nicholson & I think runo Pires might have played on this one too! A song about an ex-colleague, living it up at the Ace Cafe on London's North Circular. Rev it up honey! Now kiss me, kiss me quick!
Lamratlazit1st - "Eddie Eddie Eddie"
Lamratlazit1st - "Eddie Eddie Eddie"This track was demanded by the eponymous Eddie, who used to hang out outside the first DSI studio in his wheelchair, drinking Super T and telling yarns. Eddie was an alcoholic originally from Glasgow and had been living on Seaford Road along from the studio in his own tiny flat but was pushed out onto the streets to make way for the 2012 Olympics. He had various ASBOS around London, so many his friend dubbed him the Asbo king. He was a self-designated anarchist and hated the Police. Indeed it was the police who beat him so badly on arrest one time that he ended up in a wheelchair for the rest of his life, with one leg noticeably shorter than the other. He also got put on electronic tag at the time we knew him, but without a home of his own, the Police decided to place the tag receiver in the local crack den, on the corner, just opposite the studio. Eddie was unhappy about this as he is/was not a crackhead and found the environment to be unbearable. For this reason, as described in the lyrics of this song, Eddie decided to wait outside the studio after curfew of 7pm one evening, with a couple of cans of Super T, for the Police to come and take him away. He felt that this was preferable to being electronically chained to the crack den and its inhabitants, who would steal whatever social security money he was given on a regular basis. On the night in question, after a long conversation with Eddie, and a confrontation with one of the crackheads who tried to drag him back inside, Eddie asked me to please, go inside the studio, crank up my guitar and play a real nice riff for him to be taken away by. "Don't try and get involved" he said, "Don't even show your face, just play a real nice bit of guitar for me, you know what I like..." So I did. And that's the riff that closes the song. At 7:30pm or so, I came outside and Eddie was gone. We never saw him again. Eddie's life was absolute shit, his mother had weaned him on beer when he was a kid ("So what chance did I have?") but despite his circumstances, he always had a smile and a kind word for me and whoever I was with. We love you Eddie, wherever you are, I hope you are doing OK, and still sticking it to the man! This was the last recorded song from Lamratlazit1st: The Keith Matthew Wagner band, and formed part of the DSI studio group recording session to celebrate the opening of the studio, also featuring Nebukanezza, Fuckjar, Dead Existence, Demora and.... I can't remember. On this track: Keith Thomas - Bass Matt Jarman - Guitar Wagner Antunes - Drums
