My name is Mat, I'm leading a long run project started in France 5 years ago, and with which I had some fantastic experiences. I've just moved to the UK, in Manchester, because even if we had great achievements with my project, I was struggling to get signed at a major label in France, because I was singing... in English !.. Obviously it's easier in France to get signed when you sing in English when you have a dad or an uncle or a good old friend working in the music industry. It wasn't my case, so I just moved here !
The project is pop, pop-rock, pop-electronic, and has a bit of hip hop influence now, but still with a pop spirit. The idea is to remain catchy, keep the tunes radio-friendly without selling my ass, and aim at large scale touring.
As a bass player and singer on stage for this project, I'm first of all looking for a drummer, with skills, good equipment, motivation and electronic gear would be a plus ! Don't hesitate to ask about my project, I just can't show the name here !

Influences
Hard to define, I'm desperately, constantly looking for new sounds. But for this project, I'd say that if you like MGMT, M83, "LSD" from ASAP Rocky, Jurassic Park, E.T., and all these 90s stuff, it would be a fantastic start !

EQUIPMENT
I'm personally playing on a Fender Jaguar bass, American Standard (with Precision mics), a Gallien Krueger 400RBIV, and an Ampeg SVT 15E. Concerning the pedals, I use a Mesa Boggie tube preamp, an MXR compressor, and a tuner.
