ABOUT

I would really like to work with a female vocalist. I predominantly play guitar and occasionally sing, but my strengths lie with guitar. I'd prefer to work on an experimental, psychedelic grungey project. Which, to be honest, I already do, I'd just really like some creative company! That said, I am open to ideas/suggestions/bribes.

I am also open to joining or forming a more riff based outfit as guitarist or guitarist/singer.

Influences

My main influences come from all over the place, rock, grunge, jazz, blues, folk, classical.... how long you got?

For the grungey, experimental project think Emma Ruth Rundall, Scout Niblett, Mark Lanegan, Lera Lynn, Jaye Jayle, Soul Savers, Chelsea Wolfe.

For riff based influences see QOTSA, Fu Manchu, Kyuss, El Caco, Clutch, Monster Magnet.
Or older bands like Deep Purple, 70s Aerosmith, Frijid Pink, Black Sabbath

EQUIPMENT

Leccy geetars:
Yamaha SG200
Chapman ML3

Off-grid geetars
Washburn parlour
Raimundo flamenco

Valve amp, speaker cab and a bunch of ever changing guitar pedals.

I have rudimentary recording equipment and various mics

A stylophone.

A crappy but apparently classic Casiotone keyboard from the early 80s. Apparently it was big on the reggae scene but I wouldn't know given it's one of the few genres I can't abide!

Mostly I abide..
