The Matchstalk Men

The Matchstalk Men are a five piece band looking to replace their keyboard player who is moving on at the end of the year.
Two of the guys are the original duo who wrote, produced & recorded the number one hit song dedicated to the artist LS Lowry.
However, they are NOT a folk outfit, but a VERY TIGHT band doing late 50s & 60s stuff, gigging every weekend in the Manchester area.
They try hard to find songs other bands don't do, or haven't thought of doing, and because of this dedication they've built a great following.
The band's sets also include some original songs from the two album releases.
It's probably best if the new keyboard player was reasonably mature, familiar with 1960s music, not bad at playing string parts and would like to play with a great little band.
Oh....... forgot to mention, they have a lot of fun doing it!
