ABOUT

Hi there,

My names Mark and I've been playing drums for quite a few years now. Finished my degree in professional musicianship (drums) a few years ago and am looking to start playing more music now just to get something happening.

I have got some previous studio experience but I would say more gig experience over this.

I can play the guitar, bass, and know a little piano as well as performing BVs in the past. I wouldn't consider myself as proficient with these over drums, but would definitely be able to write parts or learn progressions etc.

Influences

I like and play more than the "4 styles" it allows me to select and they vary quite drastically.

I'm interested and influenced by many genres, metal, reggae, swing, rock, pop, rap, hip hop/trap beats etc. Anything that has interesting drum parts really.

EQUIPMENT

I have a drum kit and cymbals, I have and use a double pedal for the heavier stuff, don't ask me to play you 64th notes at 250 BPM though, I'm not that fast haha.
I also have a set of triggers that rarely get used too.

I have an electric guitar, cables and amp and access to practice on a keyboard and piano. I Can't take them anywhere though as they're not mine.
