Red Eye Flight (Inst)
Red Eye Flight (Inst)I've taken a few red eye flights in my day. The feeling of entering a new day, in a new time zone, after flying all night just to get there is pretty unreal. Here's to one day experiencing that feeling again 🌙🛬

Your Best Dude (Demo)
Your Best Dude (Demo)A song about presence. Tracked, recorded, and mixed through the #Spire mobile recording app.
your light'Your Light' is the shining moment on the 2010 limited release, "The Collector". It was written, recorded and mastered over the course of an evening. The rhythm, which includes the triplet plucked verse and an improvised barred bridge, was finalized on the third take. Keys and vocals were tracked, as is most of my work, well into the night. On a personal note, this is probably my favorite '78 recording to date. It always sounds so much grander in my head.
Last X-MasWith lyrics by Kt and music by '78. Kt's vision was for this to be a power-pop/ punk song with semi-obvious autobiographical undertones. Once she handed it to me, it took a completely different turn. Recorded in an Upper Arlington basement in 2007, the introduction of the chord organ establishes a trend for future '78 sounds and songs. Thanks for listening.
