18 and looking to increase experience and find like minded musicians ready to jam and make music with. I tend to practice twice a week and jam with the headphones on after each practice for about 40-60 mins after so total about 3-4 hours a week more practice if im not busy. I've never gigged before and haven't posted this with the intention to gig but i would gig a few months after meeting and jamming with new band mates if i got along well with them.I work two jobs one part time one self employed . looking to spend the next year having fun and perusing interests and hobbies so i am generally very flexible with working hours being given a weeks notice . thought i would specify here instead of below.

Years playing music:

When i started drumming at near 15 i took influence from punk and pop punk bands such as green day and ramones. i played some pop at the time just to say to friends look what i can do. got bored a couple of months later and thought what songs do i know. the one song i knew by Nirvana rhcp sum 41 soon turned me into playing 4 or 5 songs of each band and then whole albums of those bands aswell as introducing me to other bands and different styles within genres. i then and still do continue to move back in time through different years and styles of music looking back to meatloaf and alice cooper aswell as stiff little fingers and pearl jam. i do listen to when not playing the kit listen to sum 41 mcr greenday foo fighters and my favourite band rise against. (people who havent heard of rise against look up "give it all by rise against" and that is close to my personal style)

my personal music style is aggressive kick patterns with changing right hand speed ie half time full time double time punk time . fills follow the same rules. lot of my style comes from 00's punk and its aggression but i take inspiration for my beat from older bands

drumming capabilities are good being able to keep up with 186 and 198 bpm 4/4

i mentioned rhythm guitar and acoustic as i can play both but i would say im considerably better at drums.

Instrument experience:

Rhythm Guitar:
Acoustic Guitar:

Despite drumming for fun I have invested in my kit to make my drumming experience for myself, more enjoyable. Have a 5 piece drum kit, shells entry level ,skins replaced every now and then when i feel like it. various cymbals but main 4 are paiste heavy ride sabian 16 and 18 light and heavy crash as well as an unknown brand very thin 18 crash. double kick pedal. am working to increase skill level but am not really into blitzing speed double kick drumming and use it more for an odd triplet or quad in certain songs. not really used for certain genres.

fender cd6 acoustic which i just play if my friends come round to parties or if i camp with them. im decent at what i take interest in on the acoustic guitar and rhythm guitar but would not be able to make music or songs
