I am looking for musicians to work on a narrative-based album, partly set in the future. The idea is, using strong visual imagery we explore the present and future through the worlds of different characters within my writing. I have been a professional performance poet for 25 years. I have also supplied vocals for experimental electronic/hiphop producers. I believe you can almost make a whole film using just words and some singing and sound effects and a dream-like set on a stage. I take a philosophically deconstructive approach by breaking everything down for the audience assuming this way at least I have all the angles covered and I might hopefully help people make a meaningful decision in their lives, which surely is the aim of art. My work has been compared to David Lynch Dylan Thomas Emily Dickinson, Terry Gilliam, JG Ballard and Kool Keith.

EQUIPMENT
I have a zoom recorder I take outdoors to get interesting sounds. I have a low to mid-range recording set up indoors, condensor mic/ headphones/ monitor speakers. a new decent fx mixer, a drum machine and two synths, a Korg ms 20 mini and a Werkstatt moog. Might come in handy.
