LOOKING FOR A GUITARIST/GUITARISTS/BASSIST AND DRUMMER FOR HEAVY METAL THRASH/GROOVE BAND. I AM A FALSE CORD VOCALIST IN THE NOTTINGHAM AREA BUT WILLING TO TRAVEL FOR THE RIGHT PEOPLE.
I am an extremely passionate female extreme vocalist starting my own thrash/groove metal band with potential doom metal elements.
My false cord screams are at a high standard, my singing voice not far behind and I am a confident lyricist. I wish to predominantly use false cord screams to front a heavy band with like-minded, professional musicians who write their own music. I am currently learning to fry scream and am always looking for new opportunities to discover new techniques. Pig squeals, tunnel throat, zombie screams are all on the cards!
My main inspirations for the type of music I want the band to create are- BURN THE PRIEST/LAMB OF GOD (Randy Blythe), SOULFLY (Max Cavalera) and OTEP (Otep Shamaya). I also really enjoy heavy dubstep and would like to potentially combine that genre with groove/thrash/doom.
THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS PROJECT FOR ME AS I AM WANTING TO PERFORM LIVE AND RECORD WITH PROFESSIONALS. I AM NOT INTERESTED IN:
- people who are not committed or passionate about what they do
- laziness
- time wasters
- judgemental or discriminatory attitudes
I want to eventually perform for a living and am determined to find the right fellow musicians and like-minded, supportive people for the job!
Experience of touring/recording/playing live is very desirable but not essential if you are creative, passionate and committed.
