I want to form a band for fun mainly but i like music with a message. I find the connection of playing in a group fantastic. I am 34 and would like to practice about once a week due to a busy lifestyle and probably on a week night ( this will obveously increase if a gig is approaching ). I dont mind doing covers, I also write. My latest work has a folk style and is telling stories and conveying messages. I have a love of history and tradition and I believe my songs are good enough to be heard by many people. I do not have a lot of live experience but I believe I can reach a good standard with the right people. I really would like to form a levellers style band or something similar. I share a similar philosophy to them although I am a not that extreme. I would like to sing but I dont mind sharing the role. I believe friendship should be the foundation stone of a good band. I am initially looking for a fiddle player, lead guitar, base and drummer. I would want to lead the band. If you want to share in my vision.
