Hello,

My name's Chris and I play drums in a band called Klees (working title!). The other members are Angel (guitar) and Al (bass).

We've been playing together for coming up to a year now and have around 15-20 songs that we're ready to record. The songs are generally myself or Angel's but we all throw ideas around in the practice room and have come up with stuff we're really happy with so far!

The structures, melodies and lyrics of all the songs are all sorted (with a couple of exceptions) and we just need someone to come and sing them now! We are all passable singers but nowhere near good enough to front a band, so we're after someone with a powerful voice who has a good sense of melody.

There are some old GarageBand recordings that Angel did here: https://soundcloud/kleesband. We play 'Dreaming Upside Down' and 'Celebration'. I've also got a lot of rough practice room recordings of the other songs on my phone which I'm happy to email if you'd like to hear more.

The music could loosely be described as 'alternative rock' which is riffy at times but nicely melodic at others, so we're hoping to find a singer who can complement both of those elements. Ultimately, what we're trying to do is write catchy songs with the right amount of 'balls'. If that makes sense!

In terms of us, we're very laid back, friendly people who get on well and really enjoy meeting up to practise every week and going for a beer afterwards. As with all non-deluded people who start bands, we didn't go in to this with any great expectations and obviously we're still realistic now. But we've really clicked and have come up with some stuff that we're very proud of and would love to go out and play live as much as possible.
