I am a 30 year old working class Hull-born lad, I might come across quiet and shy at first but if I have something to say I will say it. I am looking for a male or female musicians/singer aged between 25 - 35 to jam and do open mics with to find my feet. If this goes well I'd like to form a band and would be willing to do cover songs but aim to eventually produce original material in a band.I have listed instruments i have played i am better on some then others and i can play lead and bass but I am mainly a rhythm guitarist/songwriter, then again if you gave me an elastic band I would get a tune out of it, haha. Where do I start?
Mick Ronson was a big influence when I first started out because he was from Hull,
I like the old 60"s psychedelic music such as Jefferson Airplane, The Doors, Love, Buffalo Springfield etc.
I like the more to date psychedelic/neo psych music such as Brmc, Black Angels,Night beats, Warlocks,Edward and magnetic Zeros etc.
I also like Libertines, Nirvana, Miles Kane, (The Little Flames, The Rascals)
Indie Britpop (Oasis,Stone Roses, Kula Shaker, etc)
Beatles, Stones, Floyd, etc.
The heaviest point in music I would go to is early Marilyn Manson, Metallica
I enjoy music from Billie Holliday to Arctic Monkeys.
