I'm not gonna lie: first off I have no vocal experience other than singing whenever and wherever it's actually feasible, and for as long as I can remember - I used to dabble in a bit of karaoke which resulted in free booze for winning the weekly competition on many occasions!
I'm looking to join a band local to me (I'm in the Bradford area) or find one that I can at least audition as a vocalist for, but after browsing on here most of the advertisements local to me already have singers! I'm available every evening (I finish work at 4.30) in the Bradford area for practice, gigs, whatever. I don't have any commitments aside from my job, which is full time.

Influences
I have a massively eclectic music taste, and I respect any talented vocalist, regardless of popularity or musical era. The vocalists I take influence from are Billie Holiday, Laura Marling, Jemina Pearl and Courtney Love.
My favourite music comes from the likes of At the Drive-In, Sonic Youth, Hole, Coheed and Cambria, Silversun Pickups, The White Stripes, Sparta and AFI, though that's barely scratching the surface of my musical taste!
