I would like to start a new modern Jazz covers band. Playing current hits in a smooth jazz style. I went up and sang open mic with a jazz band recently on holiday and wasn't familiar with their songs so they played a couple of my requests and it worked really well. Modern songs with a classic vintage jazz style. So thought, let's start one up locally for functions.
