Formed in 2010 in Uzes, in the south of France, Jela is a young band with rock and roll, pop and folk influences.
They started out playing covers until they met Dave Roberts, who is from Manchester, who is now their manager and lyricist.
They now play their own songs. Because of different levels of commitment, JELA is now composed of a singer/guitarist, a drummer and a bass player.
They are now living in Stockport, Manchester, with a view to forming a professional touring band.
