I started playing Bass around 2/3 months ago and have enjoyed it a lot more than I initially thought I would. I post predominantly Punk/rock covers into Instagram and have spent a lot of my time learning a few Green day songs as that was the band that initially attracted me to playing Bass. I’m open to trying/joining any sort of band at any level. It would be nice to get some experience to play with someone or within a band, and progress together.

Influences
Without doubt my biggest influence is Mike Dirnt from Green Day. I love the melodies that he produces on Bass and am constantly playing/learning them and even reinventing parts of songs or adding slight extras to develop my own style.

EQUIPMENT
I have the cheapest Bass I could find as I wasn’t sure initially whether I was going to be too interested in playing long term. It’s a 3/4 LA bass guitar from ‘Gear4music’ and I have an 15W basic amp to go with it. I play predominantly with a pick, however can play finger style too
