I am a very passionate bodhran player. I normally play with Hedwitschak drums and like playing any type of music. Modern bodhrans have such range of tones which allow me to adapt to different music and influences. I play with a folk band when I am required. I have collaborated with different musicians playing from rock, pop and metal tunes, passing through reggae and ending in concept and experimental styles. Every style and people I work with helps me develop my skills and knowledge. I also play the cajon although I am not as skilful with it as I am on the bodhran.

Influences
There are many influences in my style. I started learning the classic style of playing but soon I was in search of new styles and techniques. I have certainly been very influenced by my tutors Noel Howlett, Eamon Murray and Cormac Byrne who are people looking for the next avenue to explore.
Music influences; I certainly like Realta in folk, ZeZe in electronic and a Perfect Circle & Tool in alternative rock.
