Band to Join, Bass Guitar, Drums.

UPDATE: Just returned to the UK (November 2019) after 10 years in Florida. I'm 66 now and been playing since I was 15, earning my living from music for over 15 years before going into business in my mid 30's. I have always played though, I can't imagine a life without music in it in some form. I have played a variety of styles including rock, pop, classical, country rock and most recently Jazz and Swing. (As a vocalist I enjoyed singing with some great big bands in Florida). I don't mind what I do this time around really. It can simply be another guitarist who wants to play classical duets or a bit of jazz; it can be a country band who needs a guitar player who can sing pretty well. It could even be a wedding band doing some swing, or someone doing original music. I don't really mind. It just has to be of a good (or potentially good) standard, and not too dependent on posing. I've had enough of that, so with great respect to tribute bands who do a great job, at 66 I'm not looking to pretend to be someone else.

Louis Armstrong said (when asked if he liked country music) that "There are only two kinds of music in the world - good and bad". I agree with that totally and like music from Stevie Ray Vaughn to Michael Buble and all points in between. In particular though, a smattering is: The Beatles, Alvin Lee, Albert Lee, Vince Gill, Eagles, Eric Clapton, Boz Skaggs, Steely Dan, Joe Pass, John Williams, Chet Atkins, Mark Knopfler etc. etc.
