Please check out www.grooveparkband.co.uk...We are a well established and busy band based around the Bristol,Weston-Super-Mare area.The sort of stuff we play is Chic,KC and the Sunshine Band,Jamiroquoi,Stevie Wonder,Doobie Brothers and loads of other stuff from the same funk based genre.We have played Bars, Hotels and corporate events.
This year has been very quiet due to various band members relocating to other areas due to primary work commitments.The previous year we did 25-30 gigs.
However the main nucleous of the band remain.At present we have drums,bass,keyboards and rhythm guitar.
We are now seeking a lead guitarist and a male or female singer...or both
The aim is to further the Band from our previous history and take it forward.Getting a large number of gigs is no problem.
Obviously a love of the sort of stuff we play is essential.Just as important is commitment and reliability.
Other than that, we would love to hear from any other like minded people.
