I am Genie EL Starz from London grew up in lagos Nigeria. I have been performing since I was 6 years old. Started out in the Sunday school choir singing lead them moving to the main church at 12 to start singing and then became a lad solo vocalist. Came back home at 19, studied music technology and also performing arts and community development. Became the lead band member. Took a long break to clear my past and here I am trying again

Influences
MY mother was a singer for Fela out I an afro beat musician also my sister was also a singer and dancer for his son. My grad father Boysie Grant a reggee singer back in the 60's my father a band menber and music producer is alsi an influence along side my second cousin SEAL. But i love Beyonce as she creates her own style which is what i want tondo. All my LIFE and everyone of my family members are all creative's. I do not have some one who is not a musician, an actor or a producer.
