PillsPills I went to the doctors I felt so bad He said “Take These son, you don’t have to be sad” 20 miligrams, one at a time Will guarantee you, a real cool time Went to the pharmacy to get my hit Girl at the counter looked at me like a piece of shit Guess she seen a lotta ‘Mentals’ before We always come back for a little more of those Pills…. Yeah, pills… First time I bombed one Felt like the walking dead As the chemicals started re-arranging my head Second time things didn’t seem so bad I may be crazy, least I’m not mad Now I’m a regular I know the deal Once in a while I tell the doctor how I feel He says “Do you want to cut down or maybe come off?” But that’s too hard & I’m too soft on those Pills…. Talkin’ pills…
Dumber DaysAs the UK begins the process of eating itself from within Flat White return with an unashamed protest song about stupidity, religion, cruelty & greed. All within a two minute pop song.
Mystery MachineMystery Machine was written during my ten year sojourn in Germany while I was playing with a short lived group called Krusty Nutz. That band recorded one slightly less than great album called ‘Landfill’ (All known copies of which were destroyed in a suspicious house fire in Cologne) and was in the process of recording another when the drummers complaints of ‘I can’t hear the kick drum in the mix’ became too much to bear and I folded the band & descended into a drink & drug hell. This is Mystery Machine as it was intended in my head. I hope you can hear enough Kick drum. G.Weevil (Flat White)
