I am a 40 something year old man who has taken up the drums and love it! I have been learning and playing for 3 years now and have progressed a lot. I feel that I am very competent playing now and I am very motivated to progress to playing with other musicians now. I engage in a lot of my own practice and am still learning with the help of a professional drumming teacher. I can keep time and am creative with my drumming. I am looking to play/jam with other musicians of a similar age category and who are either at the beginning stages of their musical work or are willing to play with someone who is relatively new to playing drums, for my age.I am as giddy and excited to take my playing to the next level as any teenager would be, wanting to form a band and play some gigs. are there any other middle-aged people out there craving the opportunity to form a band or a least jam!
