ABOUT

I started playing drums and other percussion when I was 5 and have practiced very hard to be at the stage I am at today. I'm pretty damn fast (over 900 hits a minute) and with practice I can handle most things thrown at me musically. I am comfortable around odd time signatures and polyrhythmic grooves and not afraid to push my limits. Not saying I'm the best or anything, I'm only 16 so there's much more to be learned (I'm not a complete egotistical teenage cockstain yet) but I'm confident in my talents as a musician and put a lot of hard work into it. I have worked well in previous bands, just looking to expand. That long enough for ya?

Influences

Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Nine Inch Nails, Tool (especially tool as their creativity is something I adore and lateralus is my favourite drumming song), Queens of the Stone Age. I am also into musicians such as Thomas Pridgen, Tony Roster Jr, Buddy Rich, Aaron Spears, and in the digital world I think flying lotus is a genius.

EQUIPMENT

Main kit: SHELLS- Mapex M series drums with 22" bass drum, 14" aux snare, 10", 12", 14" toms (plus a spare 8" for more creative tracks), 14" mapex Saturn pro main snare. CYMBALS- all sabien, 14" aax hats, 16" aax crash, 18" aax crash, 16" aax trash crash, street fx cymbal, 10" aax splash, 20" aax ride, 16" aa china, 14" as aux hats, extra zyn 20" crash for heavier or jazzier projects. I also own a few shitty basses and guitars for songwriting and have more gear and creative instruments in my cellar which is capable of reasonably non shitty recordings due to soundproofing and a reasonable mixing desk. I also have the ability to type way too much.
