I've been playing for a looooong time! Have recently found myself writing songs again, mostly poppy stuff and would like to find other musicians to perform them with, and joint write if that is mutual. I was recently playing with an Alt Country/Bluegrass band, helping them out. I don't seem to write in that genre though, so need another outlet. I don't have a format in mind, I'd rather see what surprises are in store. I write with guitar, bass or keyboards and sing, but playing live I would usually play bass (I have a 6 string fretless acoustic)

Influences
So many.....the 70's & 80's were my formative musical years. That would include The Faces, David Bowie, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Elvis Costello, Peter Gabriel, all punk. Nowadays, love everything except thrash metal etc. Singing is my favourite, so it must have a good tune. Current favourites - Chet Faker, Here We Go Magic, Arcade Fire, Little Dragon, The Black Keys
