ABOUT

Ex-pat American and long time (longer than you've been alive) songwriter, busker, rhythm type acoustic guitarist, harmonica player. Dabble in banjo and mandolin. Play mostly my own or relatively unknown folk and underground rock songs -- and tend to make all of them sound like a mashup of Gram Parsons and Michael Stipe tripping on some sad drug.

Many years ago, was a band manager and lawyer for musicians -- so there's that. Below, when I say I have played over 100 gigs, all of those (except three) have been busking on the streets of (primarily) Manchester. So, I have very little indoor stage performance experience -- but it's cold and rainy outside so maybe it's time to see what it's like playing inside.

Mainly I'm looking for a female folky violinist who is very comfortable singing but is not an overly-polished vocalist (E.g. Anna Tivel rather than Sandy Denny). The ability to play a little on another instrument or two would be a plus.
