ABOUT

First instrument is all of the saxophone family and have all from sop to bari but happy to play most woodwind including flute, clarinet and didg. Also play fair support keys (but I'm not Chick Corea!) and good steady bass - but again Jaco is a long way off yet! Have gigged on sax, keys and bass in a whole variety of function bands from lead sax in a modern jazz fusion bands to standard soul and blues bands, to Punk-ska original material as well as some ambient and electronica bands. Have also done some composing and performing original material in a range of set ups and worked with a number of brass sections. Happy to play from dots if needed but sight reading rusty so time to pick through dots is a help. Open to most ideas and styles. Pretty lively on stage and good on backing vox and harmonies, have all of my own kit as needed.
