I have been playing in rock/metal bands since I was 11.
Last band I was in was a death metal band.
Stopped playing about 5 years ago to concentrate on getting a degree (didn't have time to work full time, complete a degree in my spare time and commit to a band).
Finished my degree a few months back and have started playing again (more just heavy metal than death metal these days). Got a lot of new ideas floating around my head that I'd be interested exploring with a new band.
Used to be very fast but the 5 year hiatus has left me a bit rusty (it's coming back to me though).
The song on my page is just and idea I have been working on recently (sorry about the sound quality).

Influences
The usual classics like Metallica & Zeplin. Heavy stuff like Cannibal Corpse, Skinless etc. Weirder stuff like tool and early SOAD but these days I'm more into stuff you can just rock out to. Enjoying Five Finger Death Punch songs a lot right now.

EQUIPMENT
I have a guitar and a combo amp, that's it.
I am a firm believer that a good riff will sound good on almost any equipment but will concede it would sound even better on good equipment.
