I started playing music when i was about 10, as a percussionist in an Arabic orchestra. I soon progressed to being the head percussionist of the orchestra and learnt many skills and styles(Especially rhythms) of music. That's where i first saw a harp and pretty much instantly fell in love with the look, technicality and sound of the instrument.
I asked the harpist of Sharq orchestra if she would tutor me and she said yes. from then on i sat Trinity exams up to grade 5 and learnt as much as i could, going to masterclasses with Catrin Finch and Danielle Perret. that's also when i started writing my own music and performing it for whomever i could. shortly after i moved to Scotland with my family and that's where i am now, currently producing music i love and sharing it with the world.
