ABOUT

I returned seriously to the guitar in 2015 after taking early retirement from my professional career. Previously I had been lead guitar in moderately successful semi-pro bands since the age of 14/15, playing blues and rock in the very late ‘60s and through the ‘70s until career and family/mortgage took over. Now, I have the time and desire to make up for the lost years, music-wise. Blues/rock (classic) is my music of choice. Having footered around for too long recently I'm itching to get back out there playing live gigs again. I'm not interested in ego trips and regard myself as neither lead guitarist nor rhythm… I call myself simply a guitarist. I have a soft spot for two guitars complementing each other within a band: and if a keys man comes into the mix then so much the better. I live in Bletchley, near Milton Keynes. While I can hold a tune, I tend to leave the singing to others.
