Hey i'm Paul,i'm 26 and have been playin drums on and off since i was 6, although only been taking it seriously since i was 18. been in a couple of bands but nothing has come of it so really wanting to get jammin once a week with other like-minded musicians for the moment and see where it goes. Have to have roughly the same aims and influences, and be able to play a bit obviously! whatever it is, a progressive slant would be good to play, getting a good balance of styles to create something atmospheric and original. BTW folks, had sign in problems and then no computer access for ages so back on this thing regular now.

Lots of heavier prog stuff, from Opeth, Cynic, Porcupine Tree, Death ,Porcupine Tree, to a bit of black metalmainly for (atmospherics), Mayhem, Blut Aus Nord, Ackercocke, Ulver, Emperor, to Morbid Angel,Strapping Young Lad, Motley Crue, Meshuggah, slower doom like new Celtic Frost, but love chilled out stuff too. Of course all the usual metal suspects, i've been in to them all, and alternative stuff like Tool, Placebo, Alice in Chains etc.

7 piece pearl export kit,Iron Cobra/Axis pedals, mostly zildjian cymbals, lookin to get a new kit in 2 to 3 years, plus a Roland td12 electronic kit which is great for practice and recording. play double kicks, and have a swinging feel to my pay. like playin chilled and laid back as well as busy and hard.
