We are Black Cheroot, a London rock band based in Leytonstone E11, currently looking for a DRUMMER (18yrs-35yr). We have just recorded and mixed an EP with our new female singer Nausicaa, and are working with producer Nick Tauber (Thin Lizzy, Toya, Def Leppard etc...) and manager Simon Harrison (B&H Management) who are bringing this band to the next stage. We need a drummer with solid technique and GROOVE, as the music we write has both rock, blues and soul/R&B elements and influences. Influences range from Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and Led Zeppelin to Radiohead and Muse.
No session players; this is for a permanent member only, who can commit to a serious project. Own transport would obviously be important.
