Bedford-based professional session bassist with transport and high-end pro equipment. Reliable, punctual and highly professional. Experience includes: jazz quartets; big bands; musicals; gospel bands; tribute bands; soul, rock, disco, funk and pop function bands. Proficient reading skills and experience with studio and live recording. Also experienced in a variety of other contexts on other instruments including guitar, drums, keyboard, organ, but most notably as a singer: classically trained, having held scholarships and deputised in a number of professional choirs and pro-standard student choirs (eg. King's College Choir, Cambridge). Happy to sing backing vocals, with experience arranging vocal and brass parts and MDing, and comfortable learning new repertoire within a limited timeframe (often called on at a couple of days' notice). Training and qualifications include: Higher Diploma Bass Guitar (Academy of Contemporary Music), BA in Music (Cambridge University), Grade 8 Singing, Grade 8 Theory.
