Hi, I'm a singer currently with a functions band (3-4 gigs a month) as well as an originals project (blues/folk). Have been involved semi-professionally with singing and music for the last ten years. Spent some time with an alternative rock group in Austin, Texas.

What I'm looking for is to join a small jazz group of super passionate and professional musicians. I want to move into the realm of creativity and subtlety, where musicianship and artistry take centre stage. Right now what I do is get people up and dancing. I used to play in a jazz quartet in Paris and while I have a powerful voice, I enjoy this kind of thing a lot more. I just don't meet those kind of musicians in what I'm doing at the moment! Are you out there??

I am reliable, professional and friendly (-:

My ideal group would involve bossa nova (girl from Ipanema) and American Songbook (Gershwin, etc.), probably with double bass, piano/guitar and me, or a trumpet player, saxophone, flute etc. For weddings I sing romantic love songs, ballads, Elvis songs and the Great American Songbook. I do a lot of soft rock and pop/dancefloor fillers in my current bands.
