SEEKING
Band to Join.ABOUT
I am mainly a vocalist/frontman, also play a variety of stringed instruments. Originally from London and living in Leeds at the moment. I have 14 years of experience playing music and 7 years of experience performing and touring. I currently run my own business creating pop-up bars, live venues, and festival stages (hence the meaty kit list).
I'm looking to play in a band of metal, grunge or rock genre but I am versatile, I just love to perform. Please do get in touch, you never know till ya give it a go. I come with lots of gear, ambition, and contacts - really keen to see what's out there!

One Last Time (Kooks Cover)
One Last Time (Kooks Cover)A cover version of The Kooks' "One Last Time" Lyrics: Can I hold you one last time / to fight the feeling that is growing in my mind / I know I did us both all so wrong / I know I'm not always all that strong A b c d e f and g / oh that reminds me of when we were free / before life began to tear us apart / remember those classes when we thought we were so smart // We were lovers in every way / left school together went back to my place / now I can hardly remember her face / before I met her I was sad // And can I hold you one last time / to fight this feeling that is growing in my mind // Original Song: www.itunes.apple.com/gb/album/konk/id721268444 Composer: Luke Pritchard Producer: Lilian Nuthall Guitars / Vox: Angus Brick McCabe Drums: Charlie Clark Recorded: The Harrodian School

Losing My Religion
Losing My ReligionThis is a tune I wrote for my girlfriend back in April 2015. It was one of the happiest times of my life, and for me, that comes through in the music, contrasting the depressing nature of the other rap I have produced. Lyrics: So I remember one time talking to this girl / her face hypnotised me held me under a spell / I don't remember much after that / other than the fact that I knew that I was made for her / and every single day that I would ever spend away from her / would become time filled with sentiments of regret / I life of wondering if I just let / the love of my life slip through my sweaty palms / knowing that I'd never be able to hold her in my arms / knowing that I should've listened to all the alarms sounding off / ringing me by the neck / making me take a double check / and then I realised that she was the one / the person that I'd only ever dreamed of / her rosey cheeks beemed off / a light to change a believer / a whole new miracle conceived / I'm praying at her knees // That's why I'm losing my religion / giving my life to a whole new vision / from my first step to my last breath / heading for a collision / with the future me and my wife to be / I guess it's destiny // Back when I was pulling myself under / submerged in a world full of thunder / I welcomed the angel of death onto my doorstep / I told her my life was becoming torturous / but little did I know I had to break above the surface / and I'd find a garden of eden / no more spending my time on these pagan heathens / cos I found that I could believe in what I saw / I felt no need to worship my own corruption anymore / once I'd felt that tenderness / those sweet lips that I'd supplicate my life to kiss / and those hips an oasis of bliss in a desert of lost souls that I / walked on my hands and knees for forty days and nights / searching for the person that I could give the rest of my life // That's why I'm losing my religion / giving my life to a whole new vision / from my first step to my last breath / heading for a collision / with the future me and my wife to be / I guess it's destiny // So now I'm stepping off the plane it's a beautiful day / I wouldn't have it any other way / I say that I love you / and I know she loves me too / I can feel it in my bones from my head down to my toes and I / think the sunlight is blinding me / cos all I can see is true affection in your complexion and it all just seems too good to be true / to have already found perfection must mean my life's headed in the right direction / despite the whole world's perplexion at the sight of young love / two inner city kids hands in the same glove / I know there aint no super human in the clouds above / creating our futures and when push comes to shove / unleashing our inner deamons and controlling what we do / cos the only sublime being that I know of is you // That's why I'm losing my religion / giving my life to a whole new vision / from my first step to my last breath / heading for a collision / with the future me and my wife to be / I guess it's destiny // Composed and Performed: Angus Brick McCabe Produced: Angus Brick McCabe Recorded: The Attic Sounds

Never Alone
Never AloneThis EP shows three songs, the earliest being 'Scatter Brain' an ode to Kurt Cobain written and produced in in 2013. 'Never Alone' written and released the following year in 2014 as a memoir of someone special, and finally 'Losing My Religion' released in 2015 as a love song for my girlfriend at the time. I like looking back on these tracks and seeing the difference between the me in 2013; bad production skills and a phony insecure american rap accent to the more recent rap I have produced and written. Composed and Performed: Angus Brick McCabe Producer: Angus Brick McCabe Recorded: Southside Bandstand Records

Scatter Brain
Scatter BrainThis is the frist rap I wrote and recorded from 2013. The song is about Kurt Cobains life from his point of view. The sampled narrative is Courtney Love reading out Kurts suicide letter at the Tribute to Nirvana career retrospective with Kurt Loder, shown shortly after Kurt's death in '94. This is the lyrics with Courtneys narrative notated as well: www.docs.google.com/document/d/1jcloD6OVJzEMNsp8xQhhMaQAX5GvoOlQtEd30p7Z2uc/edit?usp=sharing Lyrics: Cos conspiracies in my genes / it's a part of me it ain't hard to see / that I can be what I wanna be / free as a fucking flea / high in the sky oh my I die oh why so hard to turn a blind eye on my misdeeds / I'm just wasting time / sitting on my ass just making rhymes / I could be doing crimes but I don't really know hard times / I guess it's not right to judge / to begrudge a life when disease is so rife / crippling our souls destroying our goals / corrupting all the controls / it's unbearable / but it's not unrepairable / when our hearts are so wearable it's terrible to see what you've always wanted to be but you know that you / can't go / with the proceeds / it’s a prophecy / delivered by the welcome mat / why can't you tell me where the fuck my family's at / I pull a gat / cocked locked and loaded / my brain's corroded eroded / I might as well explode it / I'm outmoded but I'm goaded by the symptoms of depression / it's a recession in my progression / retrocession of my direction / cos I'm a derivative / I derive from the hive where I find I'm at peace with my mind / but I feel disinclined / I'm defined to refine but I still resign from mankind // I think my head's ripped at the seams / my top's loose I got brain juice all over the floor of the convenience store I'm like a prisoner of war / locked up off shore / in a cage but I rage and uncontrollable plague / it's all the same working minimum wage nowadays / so I throw the liquor counter up / and I burn this place to the dust / this world lacks in trust but that's what happens when your life's unjust / I can't breathe fire / I cut myself on barbed wire / I'm not invincible or ethereal but I'm fucked up to go serial / I'm venereal the batcave is my collateral / I guess I'm unilateral bilateral trilateral multilateral matter-of-factual / contractual obligations / they tie me to the law of nations and my violations of the regulations / according to my calculus of variations there's an alternation of generations due to face diplomatic negotiations that abide to the statute of limitations / I use the rule book to wipe my ass as it holds the / relativistic mass / quite nicely / to put it concisely I know it's not likely / but I might just be the next Will Knightley / don't take it lightly / I'll head to Switzerland on a one way ticket put a bullet in my head cos I know it's all in good spirit // Composed and Performed: Angus Brick McCabe Producer: Angus Brick McCabe Recorded: Southside Bandstand Records

Can't Stop Thinking (About You)
Can't Stop Thinking (About You)This is the first major band I was in. With this band I played some of the most memorable gigs of my life so far, including the Isle Of Wight Festival and London Troubadour. This band was also my first introduction to a studio environment and formed the foundation on which I started to build my production skills.
