About me:
I am a singer/songwriter, and multi instrumentalist playing guitar, mandolin, banjo, pedal steel guitar and bass
Born in 1969 in Matlock, Derbyshire.
It was during 1986 that I came across an excellent recording studio in Ashburton and upon approaching the owner, I was welcomed in and started doing jobs from making tea ( as you do ) to miking up, to assistant engineering and I was being taught by the owner not only how to use and run a recording studio but in any spare time he would teach me how to play the pedal steel guitar and also acoustic guitar.
I spent many years in that studio meeting and working with countless well known artists.
I am also a songwriter writing both music and lyrics for various artists here in the UK and abroad and has had success with a number of 'hits'-
I use high quality backing tracks, a lot of which I make myself and use quality PA systems etc.
