Hi, I'm just back in Glasgow after years away and seeking musicians and places to play. Inspired by recent protests in chile, I'm looking for musicians and participants to play nueva cancion i.e a folk/prog rock/world mixture with serious and more in depth words & meanings. I play spanish guitar, charango, uzbek lute, mandolin, indian tabla and sing. I'd like to find soloists and people who also play acoustic instruments or something that fits well with them. I love improvisation, especially folk inspired but also more experimental. This band idea is so as to make some music online with a view to doing more once things open up more. On bandlab I'm alecanque so please just add me and I'll publish some stuff there as soon as I figure out how to use it!
