I have an eclectic taste in music and have played a range of styles including, classical, folk, rock n roll, blues, pop, ska n reggae. I'm looking to play keyboards in a band that plays either ska/rocksteady/reggae or 40's 50's 60's style of rock n roll (or both). I'm serious about my music and want to play in a well rehearsed band that gigs regularly, at least once a month. Touring occasionally would be ok and festivals too.
I'm happy to do covers but would like to do some original stuff too.
Money isn't my main concern but i don't like playing for free unless it's for a good cause.
I love playing to a crowd of people dancing.
I care about the environment and social justice.

I listen to such a wide variety of stuff so it's a bit meaningless to quote a few examples of influences. I like music with space good dynamics and not too loud. I like to be able to hear the vocals clearly and follow the lyrics.
I don't usually like all of what a band does, usually there's a few songs here and there that I like. :- Who, Fleetwoodmac, Stones, Beatles, Animals, Kinks, Searchers, Zepplin, Madness, Marley, Paragons, Desmond Dekker, Toots and the Maytels, Prince Buster, Jimmy Cliff, Pink Floyd, 10cc , Hollies, Cream, Bowie, Troggs, Moody Blues, Black Sabbath, Queen, T Rex, Queen, Coldplay, Steel Pulse, Fairport Convention.... the list could go on and on ....
