I'm a fairly youthful old fella and played bass guitar with a great covers band called WhatEva Treva until it split in August 2013. I've now retired from the day job, so I can now concentrate on music.
My main instruments are guitar, flute and bass guitar, though I also play mandolin and occasional tenor sax. I arrange and teach vocal harmony as I've got sound knowledge of harmony theory from my O level music (grade one, no less!!) which has proved invaluable over the years ...

Influences
Original influences were The Beatles (of course), The Hollies and some other 60's bands. I love to play other eras of pop and rock to give good balance to the band's programme so long as it's good music...
EQUIPMENT
Rickenbacker and PRS electric guitars, Michael Wise, Takamine and Taylor 614ce electro/acoustics, Fender Jazz and Ernie Ball Musicman basses, Peavey 260w stereo chorus amp, 350w Hartke bass rig, Marshall JCM 40w for smaller venues and 500w PA system (bought for practice purposes, though it would do for smaller venues). Plus AKG mikes, stands, leads, flight cases etc...
